Weathering: Sitting all snug on the couch, thinking about building a fire and wondering if our house is literally going to blow away. It’s SO windy outside!
Listening: To Theo watch some agent show, Little Miss grunt and squeek and suck on her recently found hands.
Reading: Currently, reading Sacred Marriage on my Kindle. Just went to the library (by myself! It was glorious!!) and picked up a whole stack of reading materials.
Eating: Just ate a couple handfuls of peanuts, two Hershey “hugs” and a fruit snack. Dinner is cooking in the crockpot, and it’s making me HUNGRY!
Drinking: Nothing. But I really, really should be drinking water.
Wearing: Jeans, a long sleeved tee and a scarf. And my One Delightful Button earrings!
Feeling: Weary, but content.
Wanting: A full night’s sleep.
Needing: To go get Tera up from her nap.
Thinking: I need to focus more often on the ways each situation in my life is a blessing. Foster care is a blessing. Marriage is a blessing. Motherhood is a blessing. I am blessed.
Enjoying: Sitting next to my husband on the couch, with Little Miss all content in between us.
Wondering: What Little Miss’ future holds. I just wish I could know where she will be and when it will happen.
Loving: My crockpot. Thank you Mr. Naxon for inventing it. I hope you made millions. You deserve it. (Yes, I did just look up the inventor of the crockpot. You are welcome.)
