Today’s the day!
Today is the day that we go in for our 20 week anatomy ultrasound. This ultrasound is very important because during it, they take a lot of measurements and check out every inch of our growing baby. They measure head size, heart size, organ size, limb size, etc. This will most likely be the only ultrasound I have this pregnancy and it will ultimately let us know if our babe is growing healthy and “normal”, or if we have some unexpected circumstances on our horizon.
This is also the ultrasound that will allow us to see what gender our baby is!
So, while I am very much aware that this ultrasound is much more important than a gender ultrasound, I also wanted to have a little bit of fun predicting whether the baby will be a BOY or a GIRL!
I wrote a post for both of the other babies with these predictions, and it was so fun I wanted to do again for round 3!
Gender Predictions for Baby #3:
Chinese Gender Prediction Chart:
Prediction: GIRL
Ramzi Method
Says: Baby attached on the Left side means girl, Baby attached on the right means boy
Prediction: GIRL
“The Glow”
Says: Glowing, you are carrying a boy; No Glow means Girl
Prediction: Boy
Hair
Says: Similar to the above, if your hair is thick and lucious, it’s a boy. Not so much, it’s a girl
Prediction: Boy
Weight Gain Placement:
Says: If you gain weight all over, it’s a girl. If you gain weight only in belly, it’s a boy.
Prediction: Girl (BUT! I found this to be opposite for me in the last two pregnancies- Tera all in my belly, Kiah more all over) So I’m saying BOY.
Heart Rate
Says: Above 140bpm says girl; below 140 bpm says boys
Prediction: Last appointment was around 150, so that means GIRL
Food Cravings
Says: Salty cravings mean boy; sweet cravings mean girl
Prediction: 1000000% BOY. I’ve had ZERO interest in sweets.
Sickness
Says: Girls are prone to make you more sick; no sickness means boy
Prediction: Well, that would be a firm girl if it’s true, but I’ve also found this one to be backwards for my two precious pregnancies (no sickness with my girl, lots of sickness with boy). So I’m saying BOY
Daddy’s Prediction: BOY
Tera’s Prediction: GIRL
Kiah’s Prediction: BOY
Mommy’s Prediction: BOY
Total:
Boy: 3/8
Girl: 5/8
