It’s 2019! And it’s off to a rough start for our family. We spent the week before Christmas traveling to Michigan and hanging out with the Hines family. We had a blast, but were eager to get back to our routine. Unfortunately, the week we returned we spent the week with all three kids feeling very under the weather. The week ended with our Ezra being admitted to the Children’s Hospital. We spent the better part of the week hospitalized with our very sick boy. Yesterday we finally came home, but are still trying to help Ezra recover from his virus. As I was driving home from the hospital, I got the phone call that my Grandma has passed into eternity.
It can only get better from here, right?
Lol. But in all seriousness, my type A personality is SUFFERING from all the chaos and lack of organization/routine in my life. I’m dying to get back to “normal”, and having a hard time having patience for the fact that it will be a process. I had so many fun blog posts planned during these past few weeks of chaos, and I have sadly watched the window of time for posting come and go. But, hey…I figured that even though the first of the year has long past, I will still go ahead and write some of the posts I had wanted to write! They are mostly for me to keep as a memory and look back on anyways!
When I first planned out this post, I imagined that it would be a fairly easy one to write! I mean…the most time consuming part of a blog post is all the writing, so pictures should make it easy, right? Well, I underestimated the fact that finding my favorite 12 photos of 2018 meant looking through over 6000 photos from the year (and deleting all the blurry ones!). And now that I have found my 12 pictures, I can’t honestly say that these are my 12 favorite…there were so many that I had to leave behind.
But there are 12 of my favorite photos from 2018. What a year it has been!!!
Each month also has a linked blog post in case you want to go and look at the whole month in review! I’m so glad that I do those monthly reviews because it has given me so much to look back on and rejoice over!
