Weekend Favorites

It’s been awhile since I’ve done one of these, and I just wanted to compile a few of my favorites into a blog post for you!

One of my goals for this year was to develop my prayer life better. I finally took the plunge and purchased this prayer journal and it’s been a GAME CHANGER. It’s not cheap, and it’s so simple it almost feels silly to be paying for it, but it has truly helped me to figure out how to pray. My copy is sold out, but she still has the 6 month version and prayer prompt journal available!

I bought these paint sticks for my kids and they are a huge hit!!! We absolutely love them! It’s like a cross between a glue stick, paint, and a marker. There is something about them that feels more sensory than just coloring with a marker, and they also have gorgeous, vibrant colors. Highly recommend them!

I’m at the point of winter where I have to move down the color scale to the palest foundation the store has. HAHA. So while I was purchasing “EXTRA PALE” foundation I grabbed this lotion. We shall see if it actually gives me any color!

How FUN are these earrings? I wear them any chance I get!!

I finally caved and bought myself a laminator. There is one at school, but it is often in use or out of laminating sheets and laminating all my school stuff takes SO LONG. I finally decided to just purchase my own and it has been a game changer. I can now sit at home on my couch and cut, laminate, cut all the things that I need for school the following week.

I took the plunge and ordered a Nugget Couch for my kids for Christmas. Those things are not cheap!! I have heard mostly positive reviews with a few “eh” reviews, so I’m eager to see if my kids will actually play with giant, expensive pieces of couch cushions. On my original order, they said it would be delivered before the end of June, but I just recently got an email that said hopefully sometime this month our order would ship! Who has the Nugget? Yay or Nay? I figure if we don’t like it, I can sell them on the black market for what I paid. They go on Ebay for about twice the original price. Ha.

I have been on a bit of reading slump these past few weeks, but I picked up A Better Life and I’m flying through it. I absolutely love it. I love her truth, honesty and the message that sometimes it’s not all about hustling for achievement. It’s about following God and letting Him open the doors on his time. She’s a favorite follow on Instagram, too.

Those are my weekend favorites! What about you? What is helping you though this month?
