If you have been following me here for any amount of time, I’m sure you’ve heard me mention Dayton Women in the Word.
Dayton Women in the Word is a group of women who have gathered together to bring God’s Word to the women of Dayton- and beyond. They produce a podcast, host a local Bible study, provide a plethora of resources on their blog…oh, and did I mention that they have a blog?!?
I have had the privilege of meeting many of the women who make up the leadership team of Dayton Women in the Word and I have been nothing but impressed by their hearts of service to the Lord.
A few months ago I received two special emails from this team asking me to come on board their team. Due to the craziness of our life, I wasn’t able to commit to a position on the team, but I was delighted to be interviewed for the podcast and took on a role as a blogger for the Dayton Women in the Word blog!
Today my first post is live- I’m not going to lie, it was rather intimidating! Dayton Women in the Word is challenging women both here and all around the world to read through the Bible in a year. Each week, a blog contributor writes a post that dives a little deeper into that week’s Scripture reading.
This week’s Scripture is Leviticus 17-Numbers 4 and I spent a lot of time focusing on the Day of Atonement!
You can head on over to the Dayton Women in the Word blog to read the rest!
