Pink Blush Maternity

#ad. These items were gifted in exchange for a featured blog post…but please know that all thoughts and opinions are my own!

Why is it that every pregnancy and every post-pregnancy body seems different?

No, I don’t mean every single body out there.

I mean my own!

Before going through pregnancy, I naively thought that I would have a not-pregnant body and a pregnant body.

HAHA.

That’s funny.

This is my third pregnancy, and with every single pregnancy, my body has grown and changed completely differently. Even more shockingly has been the fact that my body after each baby has also not gone back to “normal”….whatever normal is.

So when this pregnancy rolled around, I knew that I had a storage box full of perfectly good maternity clothes. However, as I tried on each piece I realized that since my body has been through so many “transformations”, half the clothes no longer fit right. They were stretched out in all the wrong places and too tight in all the wrong places. I knew I had to get myself some maternity clothes that actually fit, and I knew just the place!

Pink Blush Maternity!

If you have never heard of Pink Blush Maternity, they are a retailer that sells cute, comfortable, stylish and affordable maternity clothing. I mean it when I say ALL of those things! Seriously, Pink Blush is my go-to for any specific pieces that I need during (and after!) pregnancy. They carry dresses, tops, pants, kimonos, robes, sleepwear, jeans…basically any type of clothing perfect for the bump, perfect for weddings or events, and perfect for every day wear. But don’t be fooled by the name “maternity”, they also carry plenty of non-maternity clothes….and so many of their clothes are designed for those postpartum days of being “in-between”, if you know what I mean. If you have never browsed their site, I would encourage you to go take a look!

One of the harder things about this pregnancy has been the fact that I’m largely pregnant in both summer and fall. I usually try to keep my wardrobe pretty minimal, but that can just get hard when the temps are ranging from 95 to 55.

Enter this gorgeous, comfy and transitional piece from Pink Blush!

I love that I can throw it on during these chilly fall mornings and evenings, and grab it as I leave the house for soccer games or fall festivals. It’s lightweight, but keeps me warm. It’s incredibly comfortable, but also shows off the bump a little bit, which is something I haven’t been able to achieve in any other sweatshirt! I love that I can wear it with shorts for a morning outing to the soccer field or with jeans to a chilly evening bonfire. Seriously, I don’t know what I’m going to do without this sweatshirt when the baby comes and I’m no longer pregnant!

You can find my sweatshirt here, but don’t forget to browse all the other super cute and affordable sweatshirt options here!

And just in case you think I had reached perfection status, here is a photo my husband got of me giving one of my children “the look”. So this sweater really wins because I can still be a Mom in it!
