The Fitness Watch You Can Actually Afford

You guys. I have been talking about this watch non-stop on Instagram, but it really needs an entire blog post.

I’ve wanted a fitness watch for YEARS. Years and years. I want to know if I’m as active as I think I might be and how my activity compares to other people’s activity (because I’m competitive y’all). I also have wanted something that can track my runs, but I’m not a super impressive runner so I don’t need it to be overly fancy. I’m not very technologically savy, I really want to keep it simple and most of all, I really don’t want to spend a ton of money! I have always debated around Black Friday/Christmas if I should just bite the bullet and buy a Fitbit, but the price tag always leaves me a little shocked.

So when my friend Renee shared about a fitness watch that she found on Amazon, I knew just what I wanted to spend some of my spending money on (notice I said SOME of my spending money…because it really wasn’t much!)

When it arrived, I got it set up pretty easily…and color me impressed. I’ve been using the watch for a month now and I can say FOR SURE that this is a fantastic watch and so affordable!!!

(no idea why there is a weird line in the photo, it does NOT look like that in person!)

(also no idea why my arm appears so hairy)

Features:

  • Time and Date Screen
  • Steps (also translates steps to miles walked)
  • Heartrate Measurement
  • Walk/Run/Bike features that you can start and stop if you go for a walk/run/bike ride
  • Tracks Sleep

In addition, there is an app that I downloaded to my phone that offers some additional features.

  • Tracks daily, weekly and monthly information

  • Has Call Alert, Text Alert, Sedentary Alert (vibrates if you have been sitting too long), and Alarm Alert (Full disclosure: I haven’t gotten those to work, although I also haven’t really tried)
  • Camera Clicker (can turn on the phone camera and then press the watch button and it takes the picture- like a remote!)
  • Goal steps: the watch vibrates when you hit the daily goal

Ok, so those are all FANTASTIC features, but you know you won’t get a review without my honesty. I have found that the watch can be a little bit inaccurate with steps. For example, I have reached my goal steps while brushing my teeth and while combing my daughters hair. While I think those things are fantastic activities, they are obviously not steps. I’ve also noticed that the watch doesn’t always track some of the steps I AM taking, so I figure it just about evens out in the end. There is no GPS in the watch as far as I can tell, so it’s not like a fancy shcmancy marathon training fitness watch. But for an average person who likes to keep track of being active or not, it’s absolutely fantastic.

Now, are you ready for the best part? The price!

It’s $29.99.

No, I’m not lying!!! I mean, for that price I’d say the tiny discrepancies are totally worth it.

You can grab it at this link below, or put it on your wishlist for Christmas!

*full disclosure: this is an affiliate link, which means that if you purchase it, I will receive approximately three pennies. Yes, three pennies*

Let me know if you have any questions or if you have a fitness tracker that you love!

Your fitness watch does a lot. What an amazing price!
Such cute pictures of Kiah in the other blog. I miss my little buddy so much. I still can’t figure out if he really liked the cabbage or if it was just because I was eating it.
