Just some quick favorites from my camera roll lately

Wrapping up fall sports season..

I finally got around to writing all about my experience growing a sunflower field this year!

Harvest in Ohio. We only have 5 acres and so far don’t grow crops on it. But right across our street is a 1,000 acre commercial farm. On Sunday as we were getting ready to leave for church, we saw the combines coming and got to watch them less than 50 feet from us. It’s so amazing.

Gorgeous Hikes. We have been LOVING our Wednesday hikes and the trees are stunning right now!

Visit from Grandpa and Grandma. We had a lovely visit from my in-laws last weekend! We got lots of outside chores done and enjoyed the beautiful weather.

Fall Field Trip/Festival. We also managed to fit in a school field trip to a fall festival! The weather was amazing and the kids had a blast!

Kiah turned 8 and had such a fun birthday party!! We went to a public BMX-type bike park and the boys just rode their bikes for two hours straight.

Homecoming weekend at Cedarville. While we only live about 40 minutes from our university, we only make it onto campus once or twice a year- and homecoming is usually one of those times! This time we had friends come and stay with us for the weekend and it was fun to relive some college memories and talk about where life has brought us since then. We went to the cardboard canoe race, the homecoming parade AND we made sure to hit up the One Dollar Book Swap, too!

And that’s all for now! Yesterday and today we spent the day at Great Wolf Lodge and today I’m heading over to Vintage Market Days of Dayton/Cincinnati! Then it’s a slow weekend with nothing else on the schedule.

Hope you are having a wonderful Friday!
