I love looking deeper at my book stats because it shows me where I am at, and where I can really improve! I would love to read more books from around the world and from authors who are different from me, as well as a few more classics. I would also like to do better at curating my reads so that I do end up having far more five star reads than wasting time on books that end up being 2 stars but were popular on bookstagram or wherever I got the recommendation. I was surprised at how many female authors I read this year, but I guess that fiction tends to lend itself more towards female writers, so that ends up balancing out.
I have one more book blog post to round out the year- my top books of the year! Stay tuned for that one!
2022 Reading Goals:
- Read 100 books
- Read 20% books by BIPOC
- Read 20 books from my own shelves
- Read 15 books published before 2000
