Spring, Glorious Spring

Spring is finally springing in our neck of the woods. As with all Springs, it has ranged from beautifully warm to snowy and cold, but overall I am seeing the signs of warmth and hope that mean that winter is behind us and better days are ahead.

I know I sound dramatic, but I really dislike winter and am always happy to see it go. I have gotten better over the years of mentally preparing myself and my home for winter. I now find I can fly through Nov, Dec, Jan and even most of February without having that inevitable winter mood crash. But then it’s always March that gets me. We have like two warm days in a row and my brain lets down it’s guard and then BAM we have 5 more weeks of winter-like weather that I was just not prepared to mentally fight through. I wish that the weather was linear, but alas, especially in Ohio, it is not.

However, we have had enough beautiful days that I needed to write an entire blog post sharing the pictures that I have snapped. There was one day in particular last week that we just kept gasping and saying “IT IS SO BEAUTIFUL TODAY”. Truly- the sun was shining on the green grass and the sky is breathless blue and the trees are in various shades of bloom and the flowers are vivacious and beautiful.

We are out hiking again and visiting various parks and trails and streams. Oh, I love WARM WEATHER!

My parents, the kids, and I ventured to Cox Arboretum to check out the tulip field. It was breathtaking!

Aren’t they stunning? We found lots of other beautiful blooms at the park, too!

Have I mentioned that I am just SO THRILLED for more time outside?

Have a wonderful weekend!
