Bits of Fall

We had the most glorious and beautiful fall here in Southeast Ohio! This past weekend we had our first snow and it officially feels like fall is over. But we sure did soak up the colors and enjoy it so much while it lasted!

I just wanted to share a quick little blog post with some of the fall colors and foliage that I captured this season.

Walks in the back fields…

Hiking at Caesar’s Creek

Could not stop taking pictures during this hike! It was breathe taking!

Bike rides on the bike path in Xenia…

Stunning sunrises from our living room window

More hikes…

Another walk around the back pasture, but this time the vibrant colors have faded and it is all very muted/neutral colors

And that is all I have for today! I make no secret of the fact that winter is my least favorite season of all, but I will say that this year the idea of just cozying up inside my house with my family certainly sounds appealing! Living on land and having a homestead has made me appreciate the changing of the seasons even more than I ever did before, and especially after being sick for 90% of the summer, I did really, really enjoy this fall weather!
