Truthfully, I’m not sure how long this will last, but I would like to make a quick post each Friday sharing one photo a day from our week. I think this will make it easier for me to keep up with blogging in smaller doses instead of trying to recap a whole month of intensity at the end of the month. I might also share a favorite here or there, but mostly just want to simply all the words and all the things happening on the internet and keep it short and simple.
Saturday– We hosted a fun Noon Year’s Eve party at our house 🙂

Sunday- Happy New Year’s Eve from our family! We went ice skating in the frigid cold. Ori hung out with the grandparents 🙂

Monday- This was a tough day! Ori is teething and did not want to be put down at all.

Tuesday– Theo had the day off and I loved seeing all the kids crowded around him to read a book.

Wednesday- 3 miles on the 3rd of January!

Thursday-
First day back to school after Christmas break and the two oldest kids had basketball practice. It’s nice to be back to a routine, but also exhausting! I’m thankful for a cozy and calm evening to wind down- we were all EXHAUSTED!

Friday–
It’s time to get back into the second semester of school routine! We have a homeschool day today and lots of chores to catch up on. Plus, our family is always a little backwards because today is Theo’s Monday – the first day of his work week, but it’s the kids and I Friday- the first day of our weekend. I am trying to be better about waking up early and getting my day started with some devotions and some time to work on my blog. This has been a challenge as Ori still doesn’t sleep well at night, so I am trying to balance being diligent with being realistic. Sometimes the season of nursing a baby is not the season to be incredibly productive.

And that’s a wrap on this week, just the short and sweet highlights!

Linking up with Friday Favorites

Good luck with keeping up on a quick Favorites post; hopefully the shortened format will help!
This is a great idea! The picture of Ori with the “wine” bottle cracks me up.
