Friday Review – The 859th week of January

HOWWWW is it still January? How? It truly feels like it has been January for 859 weeks now. I hasn’t been a bad month at all- just endless! Anyone else with me on that?

I’m linking up with Friday Favorites to share a small favorite from each day of this past week 🙂

Saturday

I was a mother chicken with her head cut off on this morning. Tera had an early basketball game, and when that was done we rushed home so that the boys could be picked up by a babysitter and Tera and I could get changed and head over to Corinne’s baby shower! It was a lovely morning spent together celebrating the new baby! Meanwhile, the boys went to a basketball game at school.

Sunday

I skipped church on Sunday because I was feeling so, so run-down. It was a lovely day at home. We did some baking, some playing outside and in the evening we went and tried a new small group for the first time. I made banana bread and Kiah helped himself. The way he cut himself a piece cracked me up!

Monday

Dinner in the crockpot, worked through schoolwork and headed to Kiah’s basketball game in the evening! This kid is a basketball star. I mean, just look at that free shot form!

Tuesday

Tuesday was a long day at school and as usual, I don’t have any photos of the day! I do have a photo of this book that I just finished and gave five stars. I absolutely loved it!

Wednesday

Wednesday was a breath of fresh air for me. Theo took the two older kids out of the house to do homework. I was able to stay home with the two little ones and get some blogging done and catch up on laundry. It has been so rainy this week! Our yard/land looks horrible with all grey/dreary/dead winter mood. I’m so ready for spring!

Thursday

The temps were in the 50s, but it was way too wet to take my whole class outside to play. Instead, we wiped off the picnic tables and ate our lunches outside! I also took this picture of Orion playing with the basketball. He adores his older siblings and is trying to grow up way too fast so he can play with them!

Guys, I did it! I picked just ONE photo from each day of the week! So, as a reward, here is a bonus photo. Of Orion, of course. He keeps losing his socks so Theo put on a pair of Tera’s socks. He looked so hilariously adorable with his cloth diaper bum and long fuzzy socks. Having a baby around sure is a delight!
