Happy Friday! We have been loving the warm February weather so far this month, but today the temps drop and we might even see some snow. I am going to get a fire going in the fireplace and I think we are going to spend quite a bit of time just snuggled up at home today.
Last weekend was busy so I never had the chance to sit down and write my Friday review, so this week we get a double dose! I’ll share just one photo/highlight from each day. Be warned: some of these are FAVORITES, and some of them are NOT a FAVORITE!
Sat, Feb 3
After basketball we headed out to a park because the sun was shining and those sun rays actually felt WARM! Favorite, for sure!
Sunday, Feb 4
I stayed home from church because Ori and Ezra both had a mild cold. Theo took the two big kids to evening small group while I stayed home in the evening as well. Ori showed off a new trick when I turned around for 30 seconds
Monday, February 5th
Getting back into a running routine has been a FAVORITE!
Tuesday, February 6th
The way our book wants us to introduce double digit addition with renaming is NOT a favorite.
Wednesday, February 7th
The beautiful weather was a FAVORITE on this day! And as the days go by, the snuggles get less and less so any time my baby snuggles up on me is a FAVORITE!
Thursday, February 8th
After school, Tera and I went on our monthly date. She wanted to walk around the mall, and had her sights set on browsing in Claire’s. She’s growing up so fast! Walking around this store with her was a FAVORITE!
Friday, February 9th
I headed to staff meeting in the morning and then spent a little while setting up for the staff baby shower the next day. I love having kids who are really, really helpful!

Sunday, February 11th
Within 24 hours, it hit everyone. And boy, did it hit hard. This is my absolute least favorite thing in all my years of parenting.

Wednesday, February 14th
Spending time outside breathing fresh air is a favorite. Also, a new basketball hoop set up made for some very happy kiddos!

Our reading buddy during reading groups was a favorite for sure 🙂
And that is a wrap! Honestly, before I sat down to write this I didn’t think I would have hardly anything good/positive to report from the last two weeks. They have been quite rough for me – physically and emotionally and mentally exhausting with back to back sicknesses and the February blues. But I’m so glad I sat down to write this and join up with Friday Favorites, because it turns out that there were a lot of fun favorites in my life lately!
