Happy Friday! I have SO many favorites to share today! It’s been a busy week and I’m loving it!
Two podcasts that I loved
When we went to the fair, we ended up driving separately (long story, but I was on call for a birth and I wanted to make sure that if I had to leave in a hurry, my family could still stay and enjoy the day), so I got to drive 3 hours round trip with complete silence in the car. I listened to some great podcasts, but these were two of my favorites:
Should You Be Posting Your Kids Online — Culture Apothecary
Does the Dave Ramsey Method Work in Today’s Economy– Relatable
Side note on these podcasts- I do listen to both Culture Apothecary and Relatable, but I don’t 100% agree with all that they say. I am recommending both of these episodes, but I wouldn’t blanket recommend both of these podcasts unless I knew you and knew it was a good fit. They both have some pretty STRONG opinions and often irk me their presentation of them.
Meeting up with a fellow blogger
I’m like well over a week behind in posting about this, but I had the lovely pleasure of meeting up with a fellow blogger, Maria! We live in the same local area (just one town over from each other) and arranged to have a little meet up! I’m a terrible blogger and did not take a single picture, so I have stolen hers ;). If you do not already follow her blog, please go do so! I think you will really enjoy her lifestyle tidbits and wise advice on raising children!
We had a lovely conversation and thoroughly enjoyed our ice cream from Whits! It did my extrovert heart so good to get out and just chat 🙂 🙂

Build 30 Program
One of the best parts of the summer for me has been the schedule-space to run and work out consistently. I typically run 3x a week, and then I have been doing a dumbbell workout series 3 days a week. I just finished Build 30 by Nourish, Move, Love and I really loved the program! I don’t know why it’s called Build 30 because it’s actually a 10 day program. I have now done it twice this summer. I think I will do a different program from her channel next, although I did enjoy doing the same program twice and seeing how much progress I was making!

Reading
I’ve been enjoying my reading lately! I HIGHLY recommend The Way of the Wildflower devotional book. It is so, so, so good. I just snagged Capable from the library, and we are going to read it as a book club this month. I’m about halfway through The Calamity Club and it’s taking me SO long, but it’s also so good!

Aldi Earbuds
Listen- I have been on a whole earbud saga lately. I had some AirPods which I loved, but I lost one of them. I just can’t justify the price, so I bought some cheapo ones on Amazon. Well, I didn’t like them much and then I accidentally jumped into the pool with them in my running pouch and ruined them. So imagine my surprise when I was shopping at Aldi and I saw these cutie lavender earbuds. I decided for $10, why not? And guess what- I love them! They aren’t AirPods, I will admit that. But for cheap earbuds, they are amazing!

A Birth
It’s always a favorite when I get to attend a birth! Of course, I can’t share any details on here but bringing life into the world is always so beautiful and sacred and it’s a pleasure to be in the room. This week’s birth had me up all night, and as I was driving home my alarm went off. The sun was rising and the roosters were crowing when I crawled into bed for a two hour nap!

Back to School- Life in the Halls
School hasn’t officially started yet, but there is LIFE in the halls of our school again! It’s coming alive and getting ready to welcome students back! I helped out with teacher orientation – in my new job – have I talked about that yet? I am so happy to be at school, and I’m surprisingly not feeling too sad about not teaching.

Flowers
This post has already been so long, so I’ll wrap it up with some pictures of my beautiful flowers this year!
