As usual, I am recapping my top ten blog posts of 2023! This is always a favorite post of mine to write, although I am not really sure who has interest in reading it haha!
As usual, I will do the top ten two ways- the top ten posts that were read this year, and then the top ten posts that I wrote this year. Because I have so many posts dating back that get some random google hits, those ones usually top the charts. But I feel they should be a different category, as they weren’t written in 2023.
As I looked over the numbers this year, I am realizing that I am officially no longer a blogger with goals/dream/following. I am now just a Mom scrapbooking my life with a couple people who like to read it. My monthly numbers this year were lower than the daily numbers I would get back when I really put a lot of time and effort into this space. Of course, I also blogged much less and I certainly didn’t do any sort of promoting this year. It is what it is. I know that blogging is a somewhat dying art, and I’m ok with that. But I don’t foresee myself walking away from this space because it truly has years and years of our family memories on it, and I would like to continue to keep our memories here. But I don’t have any plans to revamp or majorly promote or pursue making this blog anything more than just a family scrapbook at this point in time!

And there you have it! Some of these surprised me (how was the birth story not the top post?). And some of them did not surprise me at all…I guess lots of people were curious about Orion’s name! Haha. I think my favorite two posts to write were the #10 and #9 spot, which makes sense, I guess. I also put a lot of passion into certain posts, and then they completely flop. Or I just throw together a Friday Favorites and it’s somehow in the top ten? Blogging is a funny thing!
